Ingredients
150g/ 1 cup Semolina
1 cup Asli ghee
150g/ 3/4 cup sugar
3 cups hot milk
1 tsp cardamom powder
1/4 tsp saffron, crushed
2 tbs almonds & pistachio flakes
Almonds & Pistachio flakes for garnishing
Preparation
- Heat ghee and roast semolina until light brown.
- Mix in hot milk and saffron and cook until milk is absorbed.
- Add sugar and cook until ghee separates.
- Stir in remaining ingredients. Remove in a serving dish and garnish.
- Serve semolina hot shira.
