Method 1
Ingredients

1 cup rice
2 cups water

Preparations

- Clean and wash rice, leave to soak for 15-20 minutes, then drain.
- Put water in a saucepan and bring to boil over a high heat. Add rice, then lower heat.
- After 5 minutes cover saucepan and cook over a low heat for 20 minutes until rice is tender.

Method 2
Ingredients

1 cup rice
4 cups water

Preparations

- Clean and wash rice, leave to soak for 15-20 minutes, then drain.
- Put water in a saucepan and bring to boil over a high heat. Add rice and cook for 20 minutes until rice is tender.
- Drain off surplus water and rinse rice in cold water. This way each grain of cooked rice will be separate.
